Leadercast St. Tammany to focus on “Architects of Tomorrow”

Every day, each one of us feels like we are being pulled in eight different directions — with employees or colleagues, clients, spouses and kids, our boss. It’s hard to find the time to focus on what we need to do in order to succeed.

That is why we are thrilled to announce the return of an event that we know will have huge impact on our ability to be true leaders. We will be hosting a simulcast presentation of Leadercast® at Movie Tavern in Covington on May 6, sponsored by Chevron and Lakeview Regional Medical Center. Last year’s event attracted nearly 200 attendees from around the region, filling up two theaters at Movie Tavern. We received tremendous feedback and know that this year will not disappoint.

Leadercast believes that leaders worth following think and behave differently. These leaders choose to operate in ways that make the people around them better, stronger, and crazy enough to believe they can change the world. The organization has identified seven core behaviors that characterize the essence of “Leaders Worth Following”. This year’s event is focused on the trait of Vision.

Visionary leaders have the ability to see a preferred future, operate in the present, and utilize the resources around them to architect a clear path to a new destination. They work tirelessly to empower those around them to bring a vision to life.

Architects of Tomorrow imagine a future that is rich and full of hope. A future where problems are solved, questions are answered, confusion gives way to clarity. In its simplest form, leadership is casting a compelling vision and mobilizing those around you to help you fulfill that vision. That is the role of Vision Architects… they design the path, they clarify the direction, and they lead their team toward that preferred future with little deviation.

Today is better because of the visionary leaders of yesterday, and the future will be brighter because of the Architects of Tomorrow.

The Leadercast event will again be broadcast LIVE from Atlanta, GA to hundreds of sites around the world, including ours! This year’s speaker lineup includes:

  • Andy Stanley – Leadership author and communicator
  • Nick Saban – Head Football Coach, University of Alabama
  • James Brown – Network broadcaster, CBS Sports and News
  • Steve Wozniak – Co-Founder of Apple
  • Kat Cole – Group President of Focus Brands
  • Dr. Henry Cloud – Leadership expert, psychologist and best-selling author
  • Chris Baréz-Brown – Author and creativity guru
  • CMDR Rorke Denver – Navy SEAL Commander & Author
  • Tripp Crosby – Comedian and director

Last year, over 130,000 leaders from 35 countries attended Leadercast. Now, in its 17th year, this full day, experiential conference is on track to reach it’s largest audience to date.

It is one of the single most consolidated sources of leadership that we have seen. But it goes beyond that. We think this conference, although very focused on leadership, transcends the topic and really shows you how to lead in life.
