Constitutional Amendments on upcoming ballot

Voters statewide will be asked to decide on six proposed amendments to the Louisiana Constitution on the upcoming November 8 ballot. During our recent board meeting there was consensus to support Constitutional Amendment 2 – which would authorize the boards of supervisors of the LSU, Southern University, University of Louisiana, and the Community and Technical Colleges systems to establish tuition and fees charged by the institutions under their supervision without requiring a two-thirds vote of legislative approval. We hope that you will consider voting for this important amendment. For more information on this and all the amendments, check out PAR’s (Public Affairs Research council of Louisiana) guide on their website. They offer both a downloadable PDF and an interactive, mobile-friendly web version.
