Planning is now underway for our annual EXPO, this year to be held at a new location – Fontainebleau High School! One of the largest high schools in Louisiana, it has all the amenities for another great show, is another visible sign of our strong education/business partnership, and is conveniently located for our primarily Mandeville & Covington members.
This year’s event will be held on Thursday, June 16, 3:00 – 7:00 pm. Our staff has already begun booth sales and we expect them to sell fast, so make plans to exhibit!
A proven effective marketing and sales tool, EXPO assembles nearly a hundred exhibitors showcasing products and services for an afternoon of networking and one-on-one conversations with hundreds of potential customers. We make it easy and affordable for our businesses to connect, and if you reserve your booth and pay in full by Wednesday, April 20, you receive $50 off the already low price.
Our annual EXPO is a special project of our Small Business Council (SBC). This year under the leadership of Committee Chair David Boudreaux with Whitney Bank, the committee has plans to offer a special networking lunch followed by informative seminars for our exhibitors the day of the event. Since approximately 90% of our members are small businesses, topics will address trends and issues affecting the small business community.
Sponsors for EXPO so far include Nola.com / The Times-Picayune; St. Tammany Parish School System, The Lake 94.7; Biz New Orleans; Carr, Riggs & Ingram; and Sophisticated Woman Magazine. A few sponsorships are still available, with prime location and numerous marketing benefits.
