Our Ambassadors Council is a valued committee that takes the lead role in assuring that each of our member businesses is valued, represented and connected. The purpose of the Council is to enhance the visibility of and promote general membership in the Chamber. Ambassadors develop a two-way communication between themselves and members by calling on existing members to update them on current activities, policies, and special events as well as asking about the member’s business, getting contact updates and listening to how the Chamber can best serve them.
Like all committee members, Ambassadors are volunteers, yet they apply for the “job,” before being carefully selected to serve a two-year term. They are outgoing, experienced Chamber members who know how to get the most benefits from membership, and are willing to enthusiastically share that knowledge with other members. They are owners of or employees of member St. Tammany West businesses. Led by this year’s Chairperson John Reynolds of Heartland Payment Systems, Ambassadors act as official greeters at events to help new members and first-time attendees feel welcome and more at ease. Our Membership Director, Melissa Dottolo is their staff leader and liaison.
We’d like to recognize and sincerely thank and acknowledge each of them for serving our Chamber and business community:
