Lacey Osborne, IOM
President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and CEO, Lacey leads the Chamber’s full-time professional staff in serving as the voice of business, providing business support, building coalitions in the parish, region and state, and workforce development. She now has 25 years experience in the chamber profession, 17 with St. Tammany West Chamber, seven years as President and CEO of the Iberville Chamber of Commerce and two years in membership development at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber.
A 1999 graduate of the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management (IOM) she is also a graduate of Leadership Louisiana, NORLI, and co-founder of Leadership West. During her tenure, the Chamber has achieved U.S. Chamber accreditation three times, most recently achieving the highest 5-star status. High standards and leading the development of now established programs as the Northshore Legislative Alliance and Northshore Healthcare Alliance as well as growing the membership and completing construction of a new Chamber building in 2005 are behind this prestigious status.
Lacey is very active with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, including being a member of their Committee of 100, the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) program, and Accrediting Board. An active member of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), Lacey served a four-year term on the ACCE Board of Directors, and is a past president of the state chamber association, LACCE.
Rewarding involvement in her own volunteer activities led her to find her true calling in the Chamber profession. Lacey, a New Orleans native, has two adult daughters and four grandchildren and lives in Covington.
