The Events Committee plays a vital role in supporting the Chamber’s mission by helping plan and execute high-quality events that engage members, strengthen relationships and generate critical non-dues revenue. Working closely with Chamber staff, the committee helps ensure events deliver value to members while enhancing the overall Chamber experience.
The Chamber hosts a robust calendar of signature events throughout the year, including the Swinging for Scholarships Golf Tournament and Southern Nights Soiree. Committee members contribute by assisting with event planning, sponsorship development, promotion and on-site support. The committee also provides input on event concepts and helps evaluate opportunities to evolve existing events to better meet member needs.
Who Should Participate
Members with an interest in event planning, sponsorship sales, marketing, hospitality or member engagement—or those who enjoy connecting people and helping create memorable experiences—are encouraged to get involved.
