Annual Events
As a non-profit organization, the Chamber's fund-raising events are vital to financing the group's ability to continue influencing positive change in the community.
Installation & Awards Banquet
The annual Installation & Awards Banquet is an opportunity to thank the outgoing Board of Directors for their dedication and welcome the incoming Board Members for the new term. This occasion celebrates the Chamber’s success from the previous year, and looks forward to prospects for the year to come. The Installation & Awards Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, January 14 at Fleur de Lis Event Center in Mandeville.
EXPO
This landmark business tradeshow is the biggest in the region with over 100 exhibitors showcasing the best St. Tammany has to offer. Over 1,000 attendees visit the EXPO for its informative booths, samples, demos and giveaways. EXPO 2010 is scheduled for Wednesday, April 28 at the Castine Center.
For more information: email Kellye Donnelly at kellye@sttammanychamber.org.
The parish’s premier business awards are also presented during the evening including the impressive Tammany Award, which goes to the local business of the year, and the Community Leadership Award. Live and silent auctions add to the fun and help raise additional funds.
$10,000 Raffle Party
By far the Chamber’s biggest fundraising event, the $10,000 Raffle Party is typically a sell-out! Not only does your $125 donation enter you for a chance to win $10,000, it also allows you and a guest to enjoy a night of food, fun and live music. Come celebrate in the company of fellow Chamber members and you might even go home with an extra $10,000 in your wallet.
The 2010 Raffle Party is scheduled for Saturday, August 14 at the Castine Center.
North Shore Focus
North Shore Focus gives you the opportunity to meet one-on-one with state elected officials, expressing concerns and discussing solutions to the most important issues affecting business growth and viability on the Northshore.
Set during the Legislative Session at either the Governor’s Mansion or in the Capitol rotunda in Baton Rouge, North Shore Focus is a cooperative effort led by Southeastern Louisiana University together with the chambers of St. Tammany, Livingston, Washington and Tangipahoa parishes.
